Ingredients/Components
- cream cheese - 24 oz
- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- sour cream
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- almond extract - 3/4 tsp
- sugar plus 2 Tbsp - 1 c
How to make cheese cake:
Beat cream cheese until softened; add eggs and 1 cup sugar, salt and almond extract. Beat until thick and smooth. Pour into 9-inch spring-form pan. Bake 45 to 50 minutes at 325°. Cool on rack 20 minutes. Add 2 tablespoons sugar to sour cream. Add vanilla and pour over cake. Return to oven and bake 10 minutes; cool and chill.Recipe categories: Cheesecake, Desserts, < 60 mins.
