- hot water - 1 c
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- butter or oleo - 1/4 lb
- graham crackers - 2/3 lb
- lemon gelatin - 1 (4
- tall can evaporated milk - 1 item
How to make cheese cake:
Crush graham crackers very fine. Add melted butter and mix. Line bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan, saving 1/2 cup mixture for topping. Add sugar to softened cream cheese. Mix well and set aside. Dissolve gelatin in hot water and chill until syrup consistency. Whip chilled milk in large bowl and add lemon juice and whip. Add gelatin mixture to milk mixture; beat well. Add cream cheese mixture to milk mixture about 1/4 cup at a time, beating well after each addition. Pour mixture into pan; sprinkle top with graham cracker mixture. Chill until firm.
