Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 2 oz
- sour cream - 1 pt
- cornstarch - 1/3 c
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- oleo, melted
- small curd cottage cheese - 1 lb
- melted oleo - 1/2 c
- graham crackers or zwieback crumbs
How to make cheese cake:
Crust:3/8 c. oleo, melted1 1/2 c. graham crackers or zwieback crumbs Make graham cracker crust. Bake for 5 minutes.Mix cottage cheese and cream cheese; beat on high speed until well blended. Beat in sugar and eggs. Reduce speed to low. Dissolve cornstarch in lemon juice and add melted butter and vanilla. Add to cheese mixture. Add sour cream and beat until smooth. Pour into pan and bake at 325° for 70 minutes. Let stand in turned off oven for 2 hours. Top with nutmeg, if you like, or serve with cherry pie filling.
