- graham cracker crumbs
- sugar - 1/4 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg
- sour cream - 1 pt
- eggs, separated - 6 item
- melted butter - 3 Tbsp
How to make cheese cake:
Cake:2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 pt. sour cream1 c. sugar1 tsp. vanilla6 eggs, separated Crust: Press mixture into the bottom and sides of pan. Combine in spring-form pan. Bake at 375° for 8 minutes. Cool.Cake: Mix softened cream cheese and sugar. Add sour cream, vanilla and egg yolks. Clean beaters. Whip egg whites until stiff. Fold egg whites into cheese mixture. Bake in spring-form pan at 350° for approximately 1 hour. Turn off oven and open oven door. Leave cake in oven while cooling down, 1/2 to 1 hour. Refrigerate. Top with canned fruit of your choice (i.e., Comstock cherries) and serve.
