Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • grated carrots - 3 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • vegetable oil
  • oleo, softened - 1/2 c
  • eggs, well beaten - 4 item
  • ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • cream cheese, softened - 1 (8
  • regular flour
  • Stir in eggs, oil and vanilla

How to make carrot cake:

Combine first 7 ingredients. Stir in eggs, oil and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350° for approximately 30 minutes. Frost cake while warm.Cream Cheese Frosting:1 lb. sugar1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened1/2 c. oleo, softened1 tsp. vanilla1 c. chopped nuts Cream first 4 ingredients until well blended. Stir in nuts.
