Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- grated carrots - 3 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- vegetable oil
- oleo, softened - 1/2 c
- eggs, well beaten - 4 item
- ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
- cream cheese, softened - 1 (8
- regular flour
- Stir in eggs, oil and vanilla
How to make carrot cake:
Combine first 7 ingredients. Stir in eggs, oil and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350° for approximately 30 minutes. Frost cake while warm.Cream Cheese Frosting:1 lb. sugar1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened1/2 c. oleo, softened1 tsp. vanilla1 c. chopped nuts Cream first 4 ingredients until well blended.
