Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- soda - 2 tsp
- confectioners sugar - 1 lb
- chopped dates - 3/4 c
- pecans - 1 c
- Wesson oil
- Add oil and blend well
- grated coarse carrots - 3 c
How to make carrot cake:
Sift dry ingredients into large bowl. Add oil and blend well. Add eggs and carrots and beat. Bake in 3 layers or 1 tube pan at 350° for 30 minutes (55 minutes for tube pan).Icing:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened1 stick margarine1 lb. confectRecipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Carrots.
