  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • granulated sugar - 2 c
  • butter or margarine - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • oil - 1 c
  • grated carrots - 3 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • confectioners sugar 10x - 2 c
  • Add sugar and stir

How to make carrot cake:

Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in large bowl. Add sugar and stir. Add oil and eggs; will be stiff. Add grated carrots slowly. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes or more in 13 x 9-inch or larger greased pan.Cream Cheese Frosting:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 tsp. vanilla1/2 c. butter or margarine2 c. confectioners sugar (10x) Beat cream cheese, butter and vanilla until blended. Add sugar and beat until smooth.
