Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 2 c
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- oil - 1 c
- grated carrots - 3 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- confectioners sugar 10x - 2 c
- Add sugar and stir
How to make carrot cake:
Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in large bowl. Add sugar and stir. Add oil and eggs; will be stiff. Add grated carrots slowly. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes or more in 13 x 9-inch or larger greased pan.Cream Cheese Frosting:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 tsp. vanilla1/2 c. butter or margarine2 c. confectioners sugar (10x) Beat cream cheese, butter and vanilla until blended.
