Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 4 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- oil
- soda - 1 tsp
- nuts - 1 c
- shredded carrots - 2 c
- finely chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- Sift flour and dry ingredients together, then add to oil mixture
- frozen orange juice or 1 cut fresh, warm - 1/2 c
How to make carrot cake:
Mix oil, sugar and eggs. Sift flour and dry ingredients together, then add to oil mixture. Add carrots and nuts. Bake 1 hour at 350° in 2 pans, size 9-inch or 1 tube pan.Topping:1/2 c. sugar1/2 c. frozen orange juice or 1 cut fresh, warm1/2 c. finely chopped nuts Pour over cake while cake is hot.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Carrots.
