Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- safflower oil - 1 c
- grated raw carrots - 2 c
- raw sugar - 2 c
- sifted, unbleached white flour - 3 c
How to make carrot cake:
Blend together sugar, oil and eggs. Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon and salt. Add the dry ingredients alternately with the carrots and nuts to the egg mixture. Mix well. Pour the batter into a well-greased 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 350° for about 1 hour or until cake is done.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Carrots.
