Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- egg yolks - 4 item
- grated carrots - 2 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- self-rising flour
- box confectioners sugar - 1 item
- pecans - 1 c
- warm water - 4 Tbsp
- stiffly beaten egg whites - 4 item
- Wesson oil
- Add grated carrots
How to make carrot cake:
Cream oil, sugar and add egg yolks beaten with water. Add grated carrots. Sift dry ingredients together and add to Wesson oil mixture. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake in three layer pans at 350° for 30 minutes.Frosting:1 (8 oz.) cream cheRecipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Carrots.
