Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • soda
  • grated carrots - 3 c
  • self-rising flour - 2 c
  • ground cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • box powdered sugar - 1 item
  • Wesson oil - 1 c
  • Beat

How to make carrot cake:

Mix sugar and Wesson oil in bowl. Beat. Add flour and 1 egg at a time. Mix cinnamon and soda. Fold in carrots with a spoon. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.Icing:8 oz. pkg. cream cheese1 c. chopped nuts1 box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla Add a little sweet milk if it is too thick.
