Carrot bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1/4 c
- lightly packed shredded raw carrots
How to make carrot bread:
Mix well all ingredients. Grease only bottom of a 9 x 5 x 3-inch pan. Bake 50 to 55 minutes at 350°, or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Loosen sides with a knife and remove from pan. Freezes well.Recipe categories: Breads, Vegetables, Carrots.
