Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- popped corn - 8 qt
- white Karo syrup - 1/2 c
- sticks butter margarine - 2 item
How to make caramel popcorn:
Boil sugar, Karo, butter and salt for 5 minutes (hard boil stage). Take off fire. Add soda and vanilla. Pour over corn. Stir well and bake 1 hour at 250°, stirring every 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Grains.
