Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 2 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- light Karo syrup - 1/2 c
- popped popcorn - 6 qt
- 2 sticks oleo or butter - 1 c
How to make caramel corn:
Mix brown sugar, Karo syrup and oleo or butter together. Bring to a boil and cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Take baking soda and add to syrup mixture. Mix well. Pour over popcorn. Bake for 1 hour at 250°, stirring a few times.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
