Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- white syrup - 1/2 c
- butter or oleo - 1 c
- popped corn unsalted
How to make caramel corn:
Combine sugar, butter, syrup and salt in saucepan. Bring to boil and boil 5 minutes. Take off, beat in soda. Place corn in large shallow pan. Pour over corn syrup mixture. Stir well. Bake in oven at 200° for 1 hour, turning corn every 15 minutes. Cool. Store in plastic bags.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
