Ingredients/Components

  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • brown sugar - 2 c
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • white Karo syrup - 1/2 c
  • popped popcorn - 6 qt
  • butter must be butter - 1/2 lb

How to make caramel corn:

Mix syrup, brown sugar and butter together and bring to a boil. Add baking soda and vanilla. Pour over popped corn and mix well. Put on a greased pan and bake at 200° for about 40 minutes. Store in tightly covered container until ready to eat.
