Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 1 oz
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • melted butter - 3/4 c
  • canned milk - 1/3 c
  • chocolate cake mix - 1 pkg

How to make caramel chocolate chip bars:

Take 1/2 mix and press into bottom of 9 x 13-inch cake pan (lightly buttered). Bake at 350° for 6 minutes. Remove from oven and spread caramel mixture evenly over the top. Sprinkle a 12 ounce package of chocolate chips over the top while still warm. Pour last 1/2 of cake mix over top of this and spread it. Bake another 12 minutes or longer until done. Cool in fridge 30 minutes prior to serving.
