Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1 c
- orange marmalade - 1 c
- cube oleo - 1 item
- yams - 1 item
How to make candied yams:
In a saucepan melt first 3 ingredients. Pour over yams. (I use 3 very large yams which have been wrapped in aluminum foil and baked until soft. Peel and slice about 1 1/2 inches thick. Set on end in baking dish and pour candied sauce over yams.) Bake in 350° oven until sauce boils and yams are heated through.Recipe categories: Pineapple, Side dish, Casseroles.
