Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- crushed cornflakes - 1 c
- dash of cinnamon - 1 item
- sweetened condensed milk - 7 oz
- 1/2 sticks margarine or butter - 1 item
- Topping:1/2 stick butter
- canned yams - 3 c
How to make candied yams:
Topping:1/2 stick butter1 c. brown sugar1 c. crushed cornflakes1 c. chopped pecans Mix first 5 ingredients in a bowl. Add sweetened condensed milk. Put into buttered casserole dish.Topping: Heat butter and sugar; add cornflakes and pecans. Spread on top of yams in casserole. Bake at 325° for 25 to 30 minutes.
