Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- butter - 1 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- light corn syrup - 1/2 c
- popped corn - 6 qt
How to make baked caramel corn:
Melt butter. Stir in brown sugar, syrup and salt. Bring to boil and stir constantly, but boil 5 minutes, no stirring. Remove from heat and stir in soda and vanilla. Gradually pour over popped corn and mix well. Bake at 250° for 1 hour, turning every 15 minutes. Remove from oven and cool completely.Recipe categories: Desserts, Lunch/snacks, Snacks.
