Ingredients/Components
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- ground beef - 3 lb
- cans Mexican chili beans - 2 item
- dash of Tabasco sauce - 1 item
- to 1 green pepper, chopped - 1/2 item
- cans taco sauce small or 2 medium cans tomatoes and chilies - 2 item
- Add onions, pepper, sauce, beans and Tabasco
- vinegar - 1 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 4 tsp
- oil - 1 c
- sugar - 2 c
- paprika - 2 tsp
- salt - 2 tsp
- dry mustard - 2 tsp
- celery seed - 2 tsp
How to make california tacos:
Brown meat. Add onions, pepper, sauce, beans and Tabasco. Add water if it seems dry. Simmer, for taste.Dressing:1 c. catsup1 c. vinegar4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce1 c. oil2 c. sugar2 tsp. paprika2 tsp. salt2 tsp. dry mustard2 tsp. celery seed Blend the dressing ingredients in a blender and blend for 2 minutes. Makes one quart.To serve, layer the following: regular size Fritos, meat mixture, chopped tomatoes, avocado (if desired), lettuce, shredded Cheddar cheese and chopped onion. Top all with dressing.
