Marinated carrots
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- oil - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- paprika - 1 tsp
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- carrots, sliced - 2 lb
How to make marinated carrots:
Peel and slice carrots into circles about 1/8 inch thick. Boil in salt water until barely tender. Drain and combine with onion. Mix remaining ingredients in saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour over carrot mixture and refrigerate. Must marinate at least 24 hours before serving. Keeps for a week or longer.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Vegetables, Carrots.
