California pasta salad
Ingredients/Components
- paprika - 1 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- onion, diced - 1 lg
- celery seed - 1/2 tsp
- green pepper, diced - 1 med
- tomatoes, diced - 3 lg
- Italian salad dressing - 1 bottle
- poppy seeds - 1 tsp
- sesame seeds - 1 Tbsp
- cucumber, diced - 1 lg
- sweet red pepper, diced - 1 med
- zucchini, diced - 2 med
- grated parmesan or romano cheese - 1/4 c
- thin spaghetti, broken into 1 inch pieces - 1 lb
- cans 2-1/2 oz sliced ripe olives, drained - 2 item
How to make california pasta salad:
Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain, and rinse in cold water. Place in large bowl. Add remaining ingredients. Toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Yields 10 to 15 servings.Recipe categories: Salads, Side dish, Pasta, rice and grains.
