Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1/4 c
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- can mandarin oranges - 1 11
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- minced parsley - 1 Tbsp
- slivered almonds - 1/2 c
- Hot pepper sauce - 1/8 tsp
- bunch red leaf lettuce, torn - 1 item
- small red onion sliced into rings - 1 item
How to make mandarin almond salad:
In a small skillet melt 3 Tbsp. sugar over low heat. Add almonds; stir until cooked. Cool; break into small pieces and set aside.
