Ingredients/Components
- cornflakes, crushed - 1 c
- shredded cabbage - 4 c
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- milk - 1 c
- grated cheese - 1 c
- cream of celery soup - 1 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- medium onion, chopped optional - 1 item
How to make cabbage casserole:
Butter bottom of casserole dish. Crumble cornflakes over bottom of dish. Spread cabbage over corn flakes. Salt and pepper to taste. In a pot, bring to boil soup, milk, margarine and mayonnaise. Pour over cabbage. Spread cheese over casserole. Crumble corn flakes over cheese. Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 350°.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Ground beef.
