- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 2 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- cream of tartar - 1/2 tsp
- finely chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- Mazola oil - 1 c
How to make butterscotch cookies:
Cream sugar and oil. Add eggs, well beaten. Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture. Mix well. Make into long roll and refrigerate (wrapped) overnight. Next day, slice into 1/4-inch slices and bake on greased cookie sheets at 400° for about 5 minutes or until golden.
