- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- self-rising flour - 1/2 c
- Crisco - 1 c
- cake flour
- sweet milk - 1 c
- butter and nut flavoring - 1 Tbsp
How to make butternut pound cake:
Cream Crisco, sugar and eggs for 1 minute at high speed. Add 1 cup flour beating 1 minute. Add 2 other cups alternately with milk. Add flavoring and bake 1 hour at 325° then turn heat up to 350° for 10 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, For large groups.
