- flour - 3 c
- sugar
- buttermilk - 1/3 c
- eggs - 6 item
- butter - 3/4 lb
- soda - 1/4 tsp
- flavor lemon or vanilla - 1 tsp
How to make buttermilk pound cake:
Cream butter and sugar well. Add eggs, one at a time. Sift flour, salt and soda. Blend into mixture; add flavor. Bake in greased pan at 325° for 1 1/4 hours. Do not open oven for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, For large groups.
