Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 5 item
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- buttermilk - 1 c
- all-purpose flour - 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- uncooked pastry shell 10-inch - 1 item
How to make buttermilk pecan pie:
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend in flour, lemon juice and vanilla. Stir in buttermilk and pecans. Pour into the pie shell. Bake at 325° for 55 minutes or until set. Cool on a wire rack. Store in refrigerator. Yields 8 servings.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
