Buttermilk pecan pie



  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 5 item
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • butter or margarine - 1/2 c
  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • all-purpose flour - 2 Tbsp
  • lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
  • uncooked pastry shell 10-inch - 1 item

How to make buttermilk pecan pie:

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend in flour, lemon juice and vanilla. Stir in buttermilk and pecans. Pour into the pie shell. Bake at 325° for 55 minutes or until set. Cool on a wire rack. Store in refrigerator. Yields 8 servings.
