Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- shortening - 3 Tbsp
- plain flour - 1 c
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- blackberries - 2 c
- Batter:1 c
- boiling water or juice
- Topping:1 1/2 to 2 Tbsp
How to make blackberry cobbler:
Mix and pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan.Batter:1 c. sugar1/2 c. milk3 Tbsp. shortening1 c. plain flour1 tsp. baking powder1/4 tsp. salt Mix and pour over berries.Topping:1 1/2 to 2 Tbsp. flour1 c. sugar1 1/4 c. boiling water or juice Combine flour and sugar; sprinkle over batter.
