Ingredients/Components

  • water - 1 c
  • hamburger - 1 lb
  • mushrooms, sliced - 8 oz
  • uncooked elbow macaroni
  • Mozzarella cheese - 1 c
  • jar spaghetti sauce

How to make busy day casserole:

Crumble beef in a 3-quart casserole. Cook in microwave 4 to 5 minutes until beef is no longer pink. Stir 1/2 way through. Mix in spaghetti sauce, water, macaroni and mushrooms. Cook in microwave, covered, for 14 minutes. Stir 1/2 way through. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top and let stand, covered, 5 to 6 minutes. (Microwaves vary and so may cooking times.)
