Ingredients/Components

  • Crisco* - 1/3 c
  • sugar - 1 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • baking chocolate - 2 sq
  • flour - 2/3 c
  • chopped nuts pecans - 1/3 c

How to make brownies:

Blend Crisco, sugar, salt, vanilla and eggs. Beat until light. Stir in melted chocolate. Add flour and nuts. Bake in greased 8-inch square pan at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. When partly cooled, cut into squares.

*Note: Cream cheese may be substituted for 1/2 the Crisco measurement.
