Brownies for a crowd
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- chocolate chips - 1/2 c
- plus 1 Tbsp - 1 c
- margarine - 1/2 c
- walnuts, chopped - 1/2 c
- plus 2 tsp - 1/4 c
- can chocolate syrup 1 1/2 c - 1 lb
- Stir in chocolate syrup
How to make brownies for a crowd:
Beat margarine and sugar until light and fluffy, then beat in 2 eggs at a time, then vanilla. Stir in chocolate syrup. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt and stir into chocolate mixture. Add nuts and pour into a well-greased (sprayed with Pam) 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch jelly roll pan. Bake 22 to 25 minutes at 350° or until touching leaves a slight imprint. Cool and frost.Frosting for Brownies For A Crowd:6 Tbsp. margarine1/4 c. plus 2 tsp. milk1 c. sugar1/2 c. chocolate chips1 tsp. vanilla Combine margarine, milk and sugar in pan and bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute. Add chocolate pieces; stir until slightly thickened and cools. Stir in vanilla and spread over cooled brownies. Serves 5 dozen.Recipe categories: Cookie and brownie, Bar cookie, Brownies.
