Brown sugar squares

Ingredients/Components

• vanilla - 1 tsp
• brown sugar - 1 c
• egg - 1 item
• sifted flour - 1/2 c
• nuts, chopped - 1 c

How to make brown sugar squares:

Blend egg, sugar and vanilla. Do not beat. Quickly stir in flour and add nuts. Spread in buttered 8-inch square pan. Bake at 350° for 18 to 20 minutes. Cut in squares.
