vanilla - 1/2 tsp
granulated sugar - 1/2 c
salt - 1/4 tsp
brown sugar - 1/2 c
baking soda - 3/4 tsp
egg - 1 item
sifted flour
margarine - 1/2 c
peanut butter - 1/2 c

How to make peanut butter cookies:

Cream butter, peanut butter, sugar, egg and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients; blend into creamed mixture. Shape in 1-inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar. Place 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Crisscross with fork. Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool slightly. Makes 4 dozen.
