  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 1 c
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • oil - 1/3 c
  • soda - 1/4 tsp
  • chocolate chips - 1 pkg
  • egg - 1 item
  • nuts, chopped - 1/2 c

How to make chocolate nut bars:

Mix brown sugar and oil, add eggs and vanilla, and stir. Mix salt and soda to flour and add to first mixture. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes. If you like them soft, bake about 15 minutes.
