Broccoli stuffed tomatoes

- medium tomatoes - 6 item
- pkg - 1 oz
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- Quaker oats quick or old fashioned, uncooked - 1/2 c
- low-fat cottage cheese - 1/3 c
- basil - 1/4 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese
How to make broccoli stuffed tomatoes:
Heat oven to 350°. Slice 1/4-inch from stem end of each tomato. Scoop out pulp and seeds; reserve for another use or discard. Place in 1-quart glass baking dish. Cook broccoli with onion according to package directions; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients except Parmesan cheese; mix well. Fill tomatoes with broccoli mixture; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until heated through.Microwave Directions: Prepare tomatoes as recipe directs, reserving Parmesan cheese; place in 1-quart microwavable dish. Cover with plastic wrap. Microwave at High 3 1/2 to 4 minutes or until tomatoes are heated through, rotating dish 1/2 turn after 2 minutes. Sprinkle with reserved cheese. Makes 6 servings.
