Broccoli cheese casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 oz
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1/2 c
- thinly sliced celery - 1 c
- chopped pimento - 2 Tbsp
- dry bread crumbs - 1/4 c
- salted water - 1 item
- fresh broccoli, cut up
How to make broccoli cheese casserole:
Cook broccoli in salted water until tender. Drain. Place in a 1 1/2-quart casserole. Combine next 7 ingredients and spread over top. Melt butter in a small saucepan. Stir in crumbs. Spread over top. Bake, uncovered, in a 375° oven for about 25 minutes until browned and hot. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Side dish, Main dish, Casseroles.
