Beef stroganoff
Ingredients/Components
- minced onion - 1/2 c
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- sirloin or round, cut into strips - 1 lb
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- sliced mushrooms - 1/2 lb
- sour cream - 1 c
How to make beef stroganoff:
Saute onion in margarine. Roll beef in flour, salt and pepper; brown with onions. Drain. Stir in mushrooms; cook 5 minutes. Add soup; simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Stir in sour cream; heat thoroughly. Serve over wide egg noodles.Recipe categories: Main dish, Meat, Beef.
