Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • milk - 1 item
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • cold water - 1 item
  • baking powder - 3 tsp
  • eggs, well beaten - 2 item
  • butter or oleo - 3 Tbsp
  • canola oil - 1 item

How to make breakfast scones:

Mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Work in butter with fingers. Add eggs and enough cold water to make a soft dough. Turn onto lightly floured board and pat out, keeping sheet 1-inch thick. Cut into rounds or squares. Fold over double and brush
