Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 5 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- stick margarine - 1/2 item
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- half and half cream - 2 c
- sausage - 1 lb
- slices white bread, crusts removed - 6 item
- shredded mild cheese
How to make breakfast casserole:
Cook sausage well and drain. Melt butter in 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish. Tear bread in small pieces and sprinkle over butter. Sprinkle sausage over bread. Sprinkle cheese over sausage.Beat eggs and other ingredients with mixer. Pour over bread, sausage and cheese layers. Chill for 8 hours or overnight. Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes.
