Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 3/4 tsp
- milk
- cornstarch
- evaporated milk - 1 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- margarine - 1 Tbsp
- regular milk - 1/2 c
- honey or egg buns or 12 slices bread - 6 item
How to make bread pudding:
Sauce:1/2 c. sugar1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch1/2 c. evaporated milk1/2 c. regular milk1 Tbsp. margarine1 tsp. vanilla1/4 tsp. cinnamon1/8 tsp. nutmeg Combine the first 8 ingredients. Break buns (bread) into small pieces; add to milk mixture. Let stand for a few minutes. Pour into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Bake for 45 minutes at 350° until golden brown.Sauce: Combine the first 4 ingredients of the sauce; cook over low heat until bubbly and thick. Remove from heat. Add margarine, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. Pour over bread pudding.
