Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- slightly beaten eggs - 4 item
- dry bread crumbs - 2 c
- milk, scalded - 4 c
How to make bread pudding:
Soak bread in milk for 5 minutes. Add butter, salt and sugar. Pour slowly over eggs. Add vanilla; mix well. Pour into greased baking dish. Bake in oven at 350° until firm (about 50 minutes).
