  • cucumbers, sliced thin - 8 c

How to make bread and butter pickles:

Let pickles stand 1 hour or longer. Then drain.Syrup:2 c. vinegar3 c. brown sugar1 tsp. turmeric1 tsp. celery seed Make syrup. Add cucumbers and boil 20 minutes. Fill sterilized canning jars and seal.
