Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 5 c
- water - 2 c
- soda - 5 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 qt
- shortening - 1 c
- All-Bran - 4 c
- Bran Buds - 2 c
How to make bran muffins:
Boil water; add soda and let cool. In separate bowl, add remaining ingredients. Combine. Add cooled water and soda mixture. This will keep in fridge for up to 6 weeks. Makes about 50 muffins. Bake at 350° for 18 to 20 minutes or until done.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Muffins.
