Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• milk - 6 Tbsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour - 2 c
• water - 1 c
• soda - 1 tsp
• cocoa - 4 Tbsp
• buttermilk - 1/2 c
• shortening - 1/4 c
• powdered sugar - 1 pkg
• pecans - 1 c
• stick oleo - 1 item
• Mix the sugar and flour together in a large mixing bowl

How to make chocolate sheet cake:

Bring to a boil the first 4 ingredients. Mix the sugar and flour together in a large mixing bowl. Pour boiling mixture over the flour mixture. Mix in the buttermilk, soda, salt, eggs and vanilla. Put into a greased 13 x 9-inch sheet cake pan. Bake 20 minutes at 400°. Watch carefully. Make icing 5 minutes before cake is done.Icing:1 stick oleo4 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk1 tsp. vanilla1 pkg. powdered sugar1 c. pecans Bring to a boil the oleo, cocoa and milk. Add the powdered sugar, vanilla and pecans. Frost while hot. Quick, easy, moist and delicious.
