Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
- catsup - 1 c
- minced onion - 1 Tbsp
- hot pepper sauce - 1/8 tsp
- bourbon - 1 c
- franks - 1 lb
How to make bourbon franks:
Combine bourbon, catsup, sugar, onion, Worcestershire and hot sauce in saucepan. Simmer uncovered for 1/2 hour, stirring occasionally. Cut franks into 5 to 6 sections. Add franks to sauce and simmer for an additional 1/2 hour. Serve hot as appetizer with toothpicks.Recipe categories: For large groups, Appetizers, 5 ingredients or less.
