Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- butter - 1 c
- water - 1 Tbsp
- egg, separated - 1 item
- very finely chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
How to make jan hagel:
Heat oven to 350°. Grease a jelly roll pan. Mix butter, sugar and egg yolk. Blend flour and cinnamon into butter mixture. Pat into pan. Beat water and egg white until frothy; brush over dough.
