Boston brown bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 3 c
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- boiling water
- cooking oil - 1 Tbsp
- raisins - 2 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
How to make boston brown bread:
Combine raisins, water and soda and soak overnight. Cream oil and sugar. Add beaten egg. Add raisins and nuts. Mix well. Add flour and salt; mix well. With Pam, spray 5 clean vegetable cans.
