  • sugar - 3 c
  • cinnamon - 3 tsp
  • eggs - 4 item
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • flour
  • water - 2/3 c
  • nutmeg - 2 tsp
  • baking soda - 2 tsp
  • cooking oil - 1 c
  • raisins - 1 c
  • sweet potatoes, cooked and mashed - 2 c

How to make sweet potato bread:

Cream sugar and eggs. Blend in oil. Add water, flour, cinnamon, baking soda, salt and nutmeg. Beat in mashed sweet potatoes mixing well. Add raisins and nuts. Pour into 4 greased and floured 1 pound coffee cans. Bake at 325° for 1 hour.
